Proposing a run on the Saturday to Philly.

Sim - can you add the details for the ramp, options for stops on the way, food, etc.?

I'm in with the family....Anyone else?

Man, you guys are killing me... I'm going to say I'm in for this one, but it may turn out to be my test run as well. If I make this one and all goes well, I will see you all the next day up north:bigthumb:

Sounds like it would be a killer weekend if the weather cooperates. I'm in between meetings and have to get back to work. I'll get back later with details ie. ramp, fuel, restaurants, dancing girls etc......
Kris- did the erectile dysfunction kick in yet from your membership?

No - it must be an age thing.....I have a few more years left in the old sausage! :rof:

Have fun gentlemen! Oh, and you too Sim. :D

I'm looking forward to see you all on Sunday. Looked on the fleet week schedule, nothing going on of interest but it should be cool seeing all the ships on the Hudson.

Yeah, always cool to see the big boats. So far it looks like the weather is gonna cooperate too. Both days. Sunday should be a blast!
Saturday we're just getting warmed up for you.

I assume you will be leaving from the Trenton Ramp and what time? I'm going to fire her up on Friday and make sure she runs right. If she does, I will see you on Sat down in the Delanco/Rancocas Creek area:surf:

Yes, Trenton. Gonna hit the water probably around 11:30 (I'll PM Kris as soon as I finish this) . Wanna meet at Bristol or Burlington around 12:30ish and head down to Philly? Call me on Friday when you know how you're doing (if you don't still have my # PM me).

What a cracking day!!!!

Got back at 7:30 this evening after leaving at 9:30am.

After a brief stop at Sims palace, we all headed to the ramp at Trenton. Now, I remember Sim saying to me he lives about 10miles from the ramp......well, about 15miles into the route, I turned on my GPS in the car and there was still 7 miles to go....more on that later.

The ramp was quiet, and after paying the local official $10, we got ready and soon after dropped in.

The run to Philly was a bit lumpy in spots due to the traffic, but my passengers seemed to enjoy the nonstop trip.

We docked at Dave and Busters' public jetty, grabbed a bite and most of us went up there to take a leak, hang out and be EVEN BIGGER kids for an hour or so.
I just chilled on the boat bonding with my baby son who was loving the captain seat. The weather was great, and the bimini kept our Irish skin ...well, ......Irish.

By the time everyone got back to join us, we moved out into the Delaware and took in a few non-traditional-tourist sites.....unless you arrived by boat!

Then it was back up river, with the tide to make it smoother.

It's hard to beat running a few feet from a mate driving a 'mate!

After a slick retrieval by both parties, it was back on the road home for all.

We stopped off near Princeton on the way home to take advantage of the cheaper gas and filled up for tomorrows trip around Manhattan.

CAN-NOT-WAIT!

Oh, and the mileage? I reckon we covered about 80miles today.
Based on Sims internal odometer, we covered 520 miles.

Great shots man! Got to put up some of what I took. Who is that beautiful baby and I love that shot of Erin lookin' a frightened.
Now I know the formula for you to post our pic- all we gotta do is blow a rooster tail.
Tomorrow gonna be a blast in the city. Still haven't heard back from Ram since he got blown out on his new engine today and couldn't show. Got a feeling he's crying into his manifold tonight. I would be. Still haven't heard back from him about ridin' shotgun on one of ours. Spencer-if you'd like just show 11.
See y'all 11am sharp! And you John. Bring your transom plug. Or two. Or three.
