TRN: 0L294977 6211001LS MERCRUISER BRAVO TRANSOM

Registered in August 1998. Merc doesn't really have model years for sterndrives. this would more than likely be an early 1999 model year package as there change over is late june. this info was staight from the mercnet (dealer site)

Thanks for your help. The boat is a 1990 Enforcer which was repowered. Now I have lots of info!

Since you have access to the dealer site to work your magic, you will likely be in big demand here!

Note the fix campaign outstanding it was on the remote control. If you have that control (commander 3000) you should have your dealer verify whether or not the recall was ever completed. if not, get it done, you'll have to pay for it now, but, you don't want that control breaking while you are going down the lake at 60mph.

ok, thanks. that was the number on the bill of sale. after i picked up the boat today and took it back to the shop i saw this number, f159765.
the person i baught the boat from said it was a 454 mag, but i am not so sure it is. can you help?

My, my, my this is interesting, this engine was originally in a fountain 27 fever. shows as a 1994 but not registered til 1996. this doesn't look like a mag engine, that engine would have been a dog in that boat.

Thanks for the info.
Not quite sure what to do about this one, any sugestions?
Did have it out yesterday, the speedo read 73 at 4200, not sure if that adds up, but it did run strong.
Im also guessing the boat or maybe the fountain was from national marine and they might have swapped the motors (heard they were good for that)because the fountain probably was slow as helll with that motor like you said. Maybe I can call checkmate and give them my hull number to see if they can give me any info on where the boat was sold and what it originaly had in it.
If anyone has anything good to add please do.
