Mid Ohio boating

lonely in mid ohio!!!

How you guys doing. Is buckeye lake any good we go to caesers alot and cumberland but we are finding that the forums dont typically apply to us stuck in the middle.

Welcome! what part of Ohio are you in?

Buckeye lake is 5' deep and full of tubers. There are 3' waves every day. I hope I never go back there.

the boat

we have a 24 foot 2000 convincer sport with red and black checkers sweeping down the side. Its the one that has no windshield its just fiberglass i will get some pics on here i just signed up last night. We also shoot over to brookville lake but its small and rough too.

I have seen your Convincor heading down I71 on the trailer when I was heading to Ceasar's Creek. Hope to see you there some day. If you see me you most likely will see Dogschool too.

the river

We are in miamisburg and have been wanting to party on the ohio river you guys go down there any? Honestly we are just trying to find somewhere around here that has or could have that tie up and hang out atmosphere.

The Ohio River used to be my hangout until I moved to Mason. Now, we usually hang on the river only during the fall. I guess the reason for this is because nobody in my crew wants to swim in the Ohio River during the summer due to the fear of toxic waste and sewage. I'm not scared though, I swam and skied there plenty. Last year, we took a 2 1/2 day run to Louisville, the first night spent at the Belle Terra Casino. That was alot of fun.

Anyway, there are many bar and grills along the river. In my opinion, if you tried one, you tried them all. If we are not on Lake Cumberland or Lake Erie, you can find us on Ceasar's Creek. I personally like going there through the week when hardly anyone is around. It is a nice lake.

I attached some pics. One is of the river run, another is from Ceasars Creek, and the last is our version of tying up and hanging out.

Matt, seriously thinking about coming down to alum creek some time this summer ive never been there.

its nice clean water. its a state park so there is not supposed to be any beers but......:sssh:. I have seen plenty of mates out there on any givin day.

its not a party lake. its more of a take the boat out with the family lake.

Raise it to the top

It's been dead in here. Gonna be at Alum Creek all day tmrw. rain or shine. Look for the rootbeer and champagne metalflake... If anyone is out, flag me down and say hey.

Man, I'ed like to make it BUT we have to work. Sunday is looking good for us. I may make it out if its warm. If not we will just hit the river down the road.

Work? In the summer? Thats for suckers. One of the best parts about being a teacher, never have to work a summer again. I'll be thinking about you guys.

I just graduated college to be a middle school math and social studies teacher. I was just hired to teach 7th and 8th grade. After owning a 24/7 business, teaching is going to be real nice. How long have you taught? at Galion?

small business owners rule!! teachers drool..

Try to own a motorcycle business and not be open on Saturday, not an option. Scaling down and making them come to me when I want to work would work for about a week.

Even if we go full year schooling, I am sure we will still have 8 weeks off, maybe not all at once.

And I don't hate, I still love you man.

You got a real good thing going and I respect that. You know how it was for me...

I'll send you pics from the lake
