My Checkmates.....so far!

My first was a 1987 18'Checkmate Sportfire. Sparkle red w/ black hull. Awesome little boat for the small Cass Lake in Waterford MI. Made a couple trips to Lake St. Clair, MI a few times with it and was emediatly hooked on the bigger lake. So I sold the boat relocated to Harrison Twp. And bought my current boat. A beautiful 1997 Convincor253. We really have an awesome time with it. This will be my third season with it. Last year I put about 125 hours on it. It's powered by a 502mpi. That really purrs.
I think I am ready for the Convincor300. Face it, Checkmate is almost the only boat maker that offers a 29'-30' boat that only has a single motor. I don't want double trouble. I think I would like to have a 300 with a 500HP. Yah, that is what I want!!!!

Those both sound like awesome rigs William. Good luck in that pursuit of a 300.
