New 26" Turbo Fusion 4 For Sale or Trade

Mark

Well-known member
I have a new 26" Turbo Fusion 4 prop that I would like to swap or sell. Only 15 minutes of testing time. Not a mark on it. They are the coveted TXP OT4 blades on a large hub. It had great holeshot and incredible mid range cruise speeds, it was just too stiff for my rig at WOT. It will be a very fast prop on the right rig.

A progressive pitch means it turns harder than what is stamped. I would say closer to a 27 or 28. Therefore I bought in too high a pitch. In my case I needed a 24-25 on my 250 Etec (non-HO). I only got 5400 RPM and it was still as fast as a 27 Trophy turning 5800 on my Starliner. I think they are going to be the 4 blade to beat.

I would be interested in swapping for another 4 blade. Probably a 26" Trophy, Quad IV, HP4, Bravo 1.. let me know what you have. Or I will sell. Make me an offer. I will include a hub kit and thrust washer (OMC).

I have a Turning Point Classic that is stamped 27, but turns more like a 24. The hole shot and mid-range are awsome, but I run out of motor with it. I am running a 28" Trophy+ right now which may be a little stiff. I would be interested in trading the Turning Point for the Turbo. I think it would be just right for you. It uses the Merc style drop in hubs, but I don't have one for OMC. If your Turbo takes the flo torque hubs, you could just keep yours. If you want to try it, let me know.

I don't know what a TP Classic is, but if it turns like a 24 it won't be enough prop. A true 26 turns 58-5900 on my motor and is where I want to be. The Etec has a very large gearcase and works best with large hub 4 blades like Rev 4, Bravo 1 etc.
The Fusion would have been great if it wasn't so stiff. I was very impressed with grip and speed. They use a specific T-lok hub not a flo-torq. I know where one can be had for Merc for $30.
I need to make sure I get the right prop this time.

I have a new 25P Trophy plus with the same test time on it. I would need a hub for a Yamaha. If interested PM me. I live in Kenora and I see you are in Winnipeg. Maybe trade for a test?
