New Cover...Sunbrella?

MindBLOWER

Well-known member
I'm going to have a new cover made for my Persuader. I want something that will keep the water out when the boat is outdoors and will trailer well. Any thoughts on the best waterproof / water resistant cover. Breathability isn't a huge concern for me as the boat will most always be totally dry. Sunbrella, Top Gun, Surelast, Aqualon, Sharkskin?
Any thoughts or personal experience appreciated.

when I spoke to Mike on Tuesday, he told me they custom make everything for older boats , that they don't have it on hand per say , so to make a cover or seat skins they need your boat present to use it for sizing

For some boats they will make the skins off a template (I know Starflites an Liners for sure) so maybe they can do some boat covers that way too but I don't see how they could get the button spacing right without having the boat there.
