Hey guys Im new to the forum and to boating, Im thinking about buying a checkmate with an olds 455 and berkley jet pump. Check out my thread in the overhaul section and see if you can help me with my prepurchase ?s.

Dustin,
I guess you have looked at the jet drive Checkmate on Craigslist, I don't remember the exact specifics other than the motor was out and the guy had some of the pieces. Good luck on the resto, I am in Roswell GA and while I have been to Lanier I haven't been there in two seasons, I usually go to the better water at Allatoona since it is just about the same distance as Lanier for me. I'll check out your resto thread, I have an engine stand and hoist from my Mopar rebuild on my truck, I travel alot but when I am home I can be home for a week at a time.

Dustin0330 said he was going to pass on that jet in the restoration section of the forum. If you know the link for that Jetmate can you post it? Some of the guys expressed an interest in it since Dustin has passed on it. Thanks
