Hello all! I've been a member for a while but never really posted, I'd like to get a little more involved with this fantastic site!
I've loved checkmates since my dad bought an entertainer when I was about 8 years old. A few years ago while going to school I picked up an old Checkmate exciter with a 115 Suzuki. I've sinced set it up with a 1997/8 (?) Merc 175 efi, stock lower unit now with scoops over the inlets, dual cable steering, all the important gauges, manual jack plate, and a couple different ss props. I've used this site for all sorts of help, and now I look forward to being more active in my participation. I'll try to get some pics of my boat soon.
Oh yeah, I'm up in northern central Saskatchewan canada! Boating season isn't very long and checkmates are very rare up here!
