Best i had the boat was 81mph (GPS). usually runs a consitant 78. that was using a 27pitch 4 blade hydromotive. It will probably run faster with the right 3 blade, but i didn't want to give up cruising speed.

i tried a 26 bravo 4 blade and it did not give the boat enough bow lift and in result i lost mph. That was the only other prop i tried. So in my opinion the Hydro is better for the Check hull design than the Bravo.
