Hey everyone! I'm new to Checkmate boats so be easy on me ha, I purchased my first one last year and haven't really been able to find a whole lot of info on it. From what I can tell it's a Checkmate Trimate I, possibly 1975, that's just what year is on the motor which is a 115 Evinrude. I bought it last year for $600 from a guy who couldn't get it running right. Having some mechanical background I figured I'd take a shot at it and found the carburetor just needed new gaskets, runs and floats like a champ now. I will try to attach some pictures of when I got it and where it's at currently. I've done some reupholstery and am currently in the process of installing a forklift lift motor i got for free from my work (forklift technician) into it to control my tilt/ trim controls because the pump went out in the other motor and I have not been able to find a replacement. Any ways thanks for the add and hoping to figure out more about the boat since I haven't been able to find much history on it.
