Welcome to the forum!! Checkmate made a bassmate boat, not sure how many years they were produced. I saw the boat on FB, definitely a bassmate.
 
I checked it out on fb. Definately looks like a bass mate to me also. I had an Ebbtide trihull many years ago that ran pretty decent speed with a 70 Johnson. No gps to check for sure back then but would guess close to 40 mph as you were wondering on fb.
