Yup, new kid on the block. I also don't have a Checkmate but want one badly. I do have a Mini Hawk for trade if anyone is interested. Hahaha, anyway, There seems to be a lot of good info on here regarding to restoring a fiberglass boat and also having to do with rigging boats but I'm having a problem with viewing the pics. I keep getting a message saying i need to upgrade my account to a p500 or some****. is there something I'm doing wrong???:brickwall:

It's not you. It's photobucket. Photobucket decided to start charging people to have the capability to post photos from their photobucket account. As a result, 100's if not thousands of forums out there, and who knows how many threads have been gutted. No pics. It's not the viewer who has to pay, it's the poster and it ain't cheap.

Welcome to the board. Still a pretty good place to hang.

Well photobucket can kiss themselves goodbye. I can tell you there's no way I'm spending $400 a year just to use put pictures up. Its probably a conspiracy from Facebook so that everybody has to use Facebook now.

If you use Chrome Browser - there is a "photobucket hotlink fix" extension you can install - it seems to restore access to most of the photos that are otherwise blocked. ( at least until photobucket figures out how to block it . . . )

Does that work from a phone???

Just a little update. Traded my Mini Hawk for a 78 predictor with a 115 evinrude crossflow. I'm new to all of this stuff so I'm sure there will be a lot of questions. Its pretty fun so far. I've had it up to 48mph(GPS) so far. Hoping I can trim it to get 50. The trim pump isn't working so I'll have to figure that one out.

Welcome to Checkmate ownership, let the spending begin, at least that is what happened to me.
