I will be up there camping for the 7th year in a row. we will have a couple boats. there is a beach, sand dunes, and a bunch of fun.

i'ts just west of Oscoda, MI. Come on up and drink some beers.

where exactly is oscoda? we will be over by lake bellaire area that weekend and if it's not to far from there maybe we can hook-up.

the park is only a couple miles west from oscoda. its on a damed up portion of the ausable. many miles of water to run on.

I went up a few yrs ago and it was nice, like to run up for a nite but I work fri & sat that weekend.

we will be there friday morn to monday. we have a real great time cuz all of our friends show up. we domintate a good portion of the beach.

it is nice, i have been up there the last 2 week ends. the park office told me they think they will be filled up by thursday night. i want to go back up for that weekend, but not sure i can swing leaving on thursday to get a gamping site.

thats nice. i was thinking about running up a night or 2 early and putting up a empty tent. since it is no reservations, and first come first serve.......that is about the only way i can guarantee a site for the weekend.

great place my mom lives up on Van Ettan Lake in Oscoda. I've been hanging out there since 1968 for vacations.

Looks like a great place to enjoy a weekend- unfortunately the 3 hour drive is a little daunting.
I actually didn't know that dunes that big existed on the east side of the state!

i took friday off, i might just take a day trip up there!!!

hopefully it wont be too crowded on friday..

oh well, a crowded lake is still better than a day at work............right?? :cheers

i'll be up there, but not untill friday night. my dad is heading up there this morning to get a camp site.
