On the water again!!!!!

Big Dave

well, L'il Dave and I put the carb back on the boat ( it has been on the '65 chevy p/u but is way too big for it) a few weeksa go and decided to start it up since it has not been run in a year now. NO WATER OUT THE PIPES!!. pulled the drive back of and put a new waterpump kit in it and found the shifting trouble! the small barrell shaft between the upper and lower halves was out of alignment. every time we put the lower back up to the upper, it would jump out of position. Finally got it with lots of sweat and a few choice words. we were able to adjust the cables now so we took it to the car wash and cleaned it up.
went for a 30 min boat ride on Lake Tawokani!!!!!:bounce:
