The merc is too much motor for a rowboat, and is for sale. when you start outrunning pontoons with 50hp on them in a rowboat you are going to fast. and every time I so much a twitched the boat started swaying

I've bought a 175 merc (225 powerhead) for spare parts and it came with a Bright Blue Glastron Carlson cvx16. Much prettier than my mate but stern was crumbling from water damage. I ended up flipping the whole package to an energetic neighbor at the lake who did an amazing rebuild of the stern with no experience.It cost him 900canadian to have the stern prof.gelcoated plus his own labor on rebuilding and installing the plug hole, sanding etc.My Site is more interactive now.
