popusing problems

is perpendicular the correct description??

a hook i belive is measured, in this case, from where the transom meets the boat bottom, 4' forward. so putting a straight edge on the bottom from the transom forward 4'.

so, it would be parallel to the strakes on the bottom of the boat.

and what was said here is that it should be checked from centerline out to the chines (outermost strakes).

H.dynamics is a bit advanced for me right now I think I will stick with the mechanical for a while....
