Trying to get info on the MX-14 and the V141 checkmates(pre-1970). Any pictures or specs would be greatly appreciated.

"Cooperider" my boat is identical, but does not have the notch in the dash, and has a flat area to mount the control box on both sides, it also doesn't have any clamshell vents on the stern. Do you have any history or specs for your boat?

Bits and pieces. It was built at the old plant on Mary St. It was probably a race boat. They made very few of them that year. Checkmate was still just getting started. Only one I ever saw with left hand drive. And the best part was my DAD may have helped to build it when he worked for Checkmate was back then.

I have a 70

I will get pics and post tonight or in the morning
Mine has a flat spot to mount controls

Hagerty1 what year is your boat? Mine is very similar. What engine hp do you have, and what kind of performance (top speed and handling) do you get with it? Is there anything you wold want to change on the boat if you could?
