In Production: New 26’ Convincor Coming in 2012 from Checkmate Marine
Bucyrus, OH (October 28, 2011) -- Checkmate Marine is excited to announce a new 26’ Convincor currently in production at the Checkmate workshop in Bucyrus, OH - in anticipation for a Spring 2012 release.
“I’m excited to reveal this custom-designed, unique looking performance boat to the boating community. We’ve spent a lot of time on the design of this model, creating it from scratch, and including truly unique details that you won’t see anywhere else,” says Doug Smith, owner of Checkmate Marine.
Each detail has been thoroughly thought out to maintain the high standards that have become the tradition with all Checkmate boats.
The 26’ Convincor has a distinctive looking windshield/windscreen designed specifically for this new model. Along with the unique windshield/windscreen, the sleek and sporty new model also includes exciting interior features such as a larger, roomier cockpit with a wide 8’6” beam, nicely appointed interior, custom seating, spacious cabin with a V-berth sleeping area.
Outside, the 26’ Convincor sports either a Mercruiser 8.2 Mag at 380hp or a Mercruiser 8.2 H.O. rated at 430hp. Additionally, standard on this model is a fiberglass swim platform.
As with all Checkmate boats, the new 26’ Convincor includes customizable in-gel graphics, no sprayed-on paint or stickers. List price on this model will be approximately $80,000.
