Prop question

Hello .........

Could one of your props possibly add proformance to my 1979 Checkmate Entertainer. It is a 21 footer and I think she weighs 2500 lbs. She is still sporting the origional 235 Johnson "looper" motor and the origional aluminum prop. I haven't run the boat sense I bought it last month. The last owner says she will do 65 to 70 mph. The motor and prop are in good+ condition.

I just got to believe an aftermarket prop will have some some better performance that a 79 era prop.

Also, sometime this spring, I will be looking into installing a hydrolic jack plate. I am not sure of the best set back for my boat. Other folks seem to think 8 to 10 inches is best. The boat has a narrow pad. I hope to run the boat in the next couple of weeks weather permitting.......

Thanks, Kurt

Hey Chris... I don't plan on doing much in the way of skiing ond such. I would like to have pretty good performance in all ranges but would like to be able to hit 70 no problem.

I really need to get the boat out and see what the performance curve is like now.

Which of the two props would best fit those parametors and what are you asking for them?

Thanks for your Time! Kurt

The 23" Predator would probably work the best from what you've told me,cuz the 25 mazco
seems alittle tall.
Good luck
Chris
