pulse 186 setback 10"

Ik can buy a 10" hydraulic setback for little money, does any one of you know this is the best setup for my checkmate pulse 186 with a 225 yamaha 2 stroke?

is the back of the boot strong enough to hold this? and deal with the power?

How heavy is that yammy? If you had a 2.4 or 2.5 merc I would say go for it but you might be better off with 8" setback with that motor

the yamaha is 196 kg so the weight is'nt that big of a problem i think.

432lbs... the 10" should work fine. I'd make sure to use a transom washer plate to spread out the stress a little better. I used a upper and lower on mine, just like these.

About $50 bucks canadian funds + shipping for top and bottom plate, I'm sure you could get them cheaper from some one in the US, but let me know if you want them.

I am looking forward to see what top end numbers you get. I starting to work on the setup on my pulse 186/ 2.4 merc 225 a little insite will save me a lot of time.
