RIP RNGRDVE

I met a lot of great people on this forum but Dave was the only one that ever came to see me in Canada so there was no way in hell I was going to miss his funeral and saying goodbye, border is closed so I couldn’t fly, lucky I’m driving truck again so I was able to drive, saw a few faces I haven’t seen in a while I just wish it was under different circumstances, and I got to meet there wonderful boys, just so sad for Karen, I’m glad I got to hug her, while I was on the drive there my Dad had a ruptured aorta she had to be flown air ambulance to Edmonton for emergency surgery, he made it through the 8.5 hour surgery and is recovering now, technically I’m not allowed to visit him now because I’ve been in the states, I’ll be home Friday and I think I’ll have to answer that question wrong when asked...when it happened and they weren’t sure if he was going to make it I was letting people know and Dave would have been one of the first people I called, I’m sure gonna miss him 😢

I'm stunned and saddened. We shared some fun messages over the years. I would have liked to meet him in person. I figured I had plenty of time to come out to the big rally at Cumberland. I had no idea. I haven't been so active on the forum and missed this news. I've offered up a prayer for his family and I'll pour out a libation in the home lake and say some words in his honor. Good bye my friend.
