Vortec as in late 80's early 90's version 5.7 l 350 gm heads. Its a built marine engine. Mercruiser also makes a vortec marine motor. All vortec means is the style of heads. The marine vortec is baseline 330hp and 400ish tq. This one has a steped up cam and air gap performer intake. So not sure of the numbers.

Don't let the whole truck engine thing fool you, those are some great flowing heads, way better than the old school fuelie heads.
