sensor on back of block underneath power steering cooler for Bravo 1?

anybody out there know what the two prong sensor is on the back top of engine block like directly underneath power steering cooler. I just installed a fresh 502 in my 88' Convincor, and have everything wired up ecept that one sensor? I bought the boat with a blown motor that was partially tore down. in the harness i have everything lines up and has connection except that one sensor. the sensor did come from the original block. any ideas?

Is it just behind the intake near the distributor? Probably an oil pressure sender for either an idiot light or more likely an electronic oil pressure gauge.

I THINK U ARE RIGHT ON MAN. IM PRETTY SURE ITS AN OIL PRESSURE SWITCH THAT, IN MY BOAT ANYWAYS HAS BEEN WIRED TO TRIGGER THE ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP. MAKES SENSE, SO THE PUMP IS ONLY RUNNING WHEN THE BOAT IS RUNNING. THANKS FOR THE REPLY
