I'm considering putting a ski pole on my Checkmate Trimate I,it has an outboard motor, where and how is the best way to secure the ski pole?

I am going to be doing the same thing on my tri-mate. The center pole will be centerline of the engine ahead of the splash well. The outrigger poles will be on the flats near the edge of the splash well. The center pole will be bolted to a plate glassed to the underside. The side poles will be tied into the knees I installed.
I will post pictures when I start the install.
