Top speed

60 - 65 the way it is set up. I've run a 23 Tempest and a 23 Quick silver. The quick silver actually performs slightly better. About 5900 rpms. I believe there are more ponies there to work with just needs to be dialed in, maybe more setback.

Pretty much the same boat I had. Just like yours, mine ran best of 68 mph with a worked 23" Tempest. Went to a 10" setback jack plate and a tight fitting bow cover from the factory and I was running 74+ mph with no other changes. Same 23" Tempest prop. Tremendous hole-shot. Best boat I've owned.

Don't feel too sorry for me though, I do have boats to play with. Just not my style. Pull my wife tubing behind her little outboard 4winns and putz around the lake in her pontoon boat. Once in a while I take her Aquatrax R-12 out for some speed fun.

What I'd really like is another 2100BR similar to this one! Great color combo!
