Sonar shoot through transduser placement

An update on the Uniden sounder. It was still working properly when I last used it in November. I now have my Pulsare stored in my garage for winter and have been doing small fixes & maintenance work on it. I noticed that the faceplate on the Uniden guage ... which apparently is a metalized stick-on is all warped and lifting away from the guage face.

Thinking about it now ... I had returned it once already for a replacement because the guage stopped working.

I would not buy this guage [Uniden] again ... considering its only been in service for this season, and I keep the boat fully covered and out of the water when not in use.
