Strange Take Off listing.

Not sure if this is a rigging problem or just driver error so I'll start here. I have a 270Br with the 496 MAG (not HO). From a stop when you hit the throttle hard the whole boat pitches hard to port and stays there until I get her up on plane. If I stay above 55mph and trim up the twist as I'll call it stops. It does not come back if I throttle down until the next take off. Of course I can use the trim tabs to help level this out on launch then put the port tab back up. This happens regardless of load, even when I am the only person in the boat. The boat does sit level in the water at idle. I have tried both my labbed B1 24p and a stock Mirage+ 25p and both have the same result. Am I missing something here in my setup?

There is no damage on the skeg and like I said the lean to port goes away when at high speed. I would think that if this was a hook in the hull the lean would get worse at speed not better.

I am certainly not the guy to answer this but your description seems to me the motor may not be sitting perfectly vertical.

I had a pontoon (LOL) that did the same thing.

Not strange, my Vision did the same thing and I just went the trim tab route.
There are a couple of schools of thought on this, --- you can go with a LH prop setup / or you can go with a counter rotating setup / or depending on how much listing your getting you can try a prop with less cupping, such as a herring or a cleaver, however those tend to add too much slip out of the hole.
Nevertheless there's most likely nothing wrong with your boat.
