Sunday Funday

Last Sunday we finally took my buddy's pontoon boat out. A little late for my liking. Always fun having to deal with 1" of ice. My buddy just got a job as a nurse. He's been working 80 hour weeks. Not much time to take the boat out. I offered to do it for him but he wouldn't let me. Being a nurse and all he didn't want me to hurt my back more. After we got the boat running and out to free water we went for a little ride. The boat didn't want to start up when it was 45 out good spark and getting gas. My guess is it may need rings. Not sure though. We took the plugs out and used a propane torch to heat up the inside of the cylinders. She fired right up. It was an interesting day I would say. People walking there dogs thought we were crazy. Maybe just a little.

Here on the Schuylkill River we have an annual event on New Years day called the Ski Freeze. The real ski enthusiasts put their boats back in the water for that one day and go skiing and wake boarding. The real nuts are the ones that go out without a wet suit.

Idk about going in the water. But I wish we got the boat runing sooner in the day. The sun was going down as we were going out. It really was a nice day.
