Need to replace my tach because it drops stops bounces had all wires checked it's a 10.000 rpm tach can it be replaced with a 7000-8000 rpm gauge 1989 checkmate 200hp merc?
 
sure it can be replaced with any range tach that 200 probably doesnt need to go to 10K, I have a cheap 6K tach if that is enough
