TEAM BAJA MARINE FORUMS!

Hey, everyone is entitled to love what they want. And it's not too surprising that a couple of Mate fans visiting a Baja board got a less than warm reception.

I didn't even go there......To me, Baja is the Bayliner of 'sporty' boats. Those that buy Bayliner/Baja are obviously less educated............

Checkmates owned: 1995 Pulsare 2100BR/1995 Mercury Promax 225 2.5 EFI. 1995 Persuader 183/4.3 LX V6. 1992 Pulse 171/1992 Mercury XR6 150 hp 2.5 liter.

I'm not sure if I will post this info on the Baja board but it is interesting to note that out of 15 boat manufacturers that JD Power collected data on Baja ranked one step above the lowest ranked boat mfg. Bayliner!!! It is a limited sample but it is certainly better than the "I have the greatest boat in the world" attitude you find on the Baja message board.

Great job stirring things up!

That's was an entertaining read. I'm confident they'd all be running checkmates if they compared the two. It's a no brainer.
