i got some ideas for the winter, not sure exactly what yet.. but i am gonna stay with the 350, or maybe a 383?? not sure yet!! but its gonna be a small block..

Small Blocks are great.... check around the used NASCAR stuff. You could build a 500 hp 355 that will live forever at 5500 6000 rpm for what I have in my crank! There are places in the Carolinas with warehouses full of parts. Just dont use their camshafts, get a Crower marine cam. The car ones usually dont have enough lobe separation for marine use (you need about 114 degees). If you are running 70+ with a mouse now you certainly have it dialed in already! My buddy has a 20` baja with a 350 and I`d love to see him put some more power to it.its around 62 right now.
