Nice job on the buy, Will
That 80 is a perfect motor for it. I have a short mid with trim and lower if you get tired of plowin water with the 20". Would love to have that one!! Enjoy it!

Audio, I bought the checkmate emblems off your boat when it was on ebay.

Its a fun little boat and a blast to drive . Would be awesome with a 115 inline on it

Shoot that cowl wrap black. Mask off the red band before you do.
Go to autozone and get the red metalcast spray. Mask off the black and shoot the red band. It will set that redbander off big time. I would recommend goin to a Marina and pick up mercury brand spraybomb "phantom black" Best spray paint on the market and extremely durable. Made for boat motors!

Well Its been a month since I last updated this thread . Since the last post this project has become mine . SO I will most likely start a new thread when I ever make it up to the lake to bring her home . There will be lots of changes made too !!!

This thing is still sitting in the drive way up at the lake I didnt even put it in the water last year . Really not sure what I want to do with it either since I bought the Vmate and have been working on getting it all back together .
