Variable Pitch

i have 2 of the land & sea torque shift's, worked real nice until i started pumping more than 280 hp, they come out of the water hard and you adjust the stops to where you want your RPM's, they are for sale now, i had to go to a 23"p . i drove to see the guys at land & sea to see if the prop was broke and he told me that i was running to much power

cool i got a 175 merc i would like to try it on. will it fit? if so how much u want for 1 or both </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

what is the range of the pitch? i was looking for something that will be in the 19-25 range can they be set up that way?

The variable pitch props are OK if you keep the prop buried, but if you surface the prop for best top speed, the rapid loading/unloading of the blades will break the prop quickly...........

if i remember one of the props starts at 13 and ends at 28, the other is 17 to 34, i can find out easy enough to be sure, they fit my alpha 1 , what else they fit i don't know, i'll pull them out tomorrow and get back at you

sorry guy's, i have not had a chance to get to camp yet , funerals and other life unexpecteds

i got the props up at the house and one of the props is in real good shape , that one i am asking $475.00... the other has i small nick in one of the blades, i don't think it will hurt anything thou asking $400.00, mosy questions can be answered at the land-sea.com site, i have pix but there is no way to get them on here that i can see

sorry man , sold one this weekend ,and i put the older one on and it wont shift so something is up with that one , im glad no one bought it ,,,they be pissed, i am going to send it to land &sea to have them check it out
