Wanted 18-22ft Mate..Help me find her!!

Hey all.....I'm a newbie here and would very much like to find myself a Mate. I just sold my 88 Baja and have always wanted a Checkmate....always. My dad had one when I was younger and ever since then, I have always wanted one of my own. I got the 88 Baja on a super deal that a boater like myself couldnt turn down.

Anyways, i'm looking to spend about 4000 at the most, not looking to go all out just yet....i'm trying to find an open bow, but am willing to see closed bows too.

I'm in the New England/Northeast area.

Please get back to me with any checkmates for sale.....Its greatly appreciated...

:welcome:
Lots of "mate's in your area...check e-bay, often, drive around,daren34 found his that way.(saw it sitting there for a while, knocked on door, guy said motor was locked up.... 1200 later got it home and the lower driveshaft was bent, upper gearcase ran dry and locked up.. pulled the complete drive and motor started right up!)
found mine on e-bay bad motor, no drive for 300.00

Starflite??

Mine may be for sale soon, it's an 87 Starflite with a 200 Rude, jackplate, newer upholstery and in generally good condition. I was looking for around $4500 or so. Located near Reading Pa. and I'll help with delivery if needed.

Sounds nice....you got my interest...send me some pics to shute420@verizon.net and let me know if you are gonna send it and when...thanks

That mate is a beauty...especially for the year...lots of time and effort went into that machine. Its a lot nicer than some boats that are 10 years newer.....a little too much for what I want to spend though.....or for what I plan on spending....thanks for the pics...

Guessing that didn't sell on Ebay :shakehead: Bummer, someone would have had a very nice boat. Anyway 'shoot', tomorrow we try again on the Flite. The local boat dealer allowed me to rob a bunch of parts of a junk 200xp so i have coils and modules to install today. We'll see what happens tomorrow!
