What size is this Holley Carb?

Thankyou Mr.Buss! My measurements look as close to yours as I can see. A 950 HP would make me more than happy as I thought I was buying a regular 950. And by looking at your pics, it looks like my carb. has the same 'rounded' contoured main body as you HP, which is what makes the HP's different. Other 850's and regular 4150's don't have that 'rounded' look to them which in turn they need bigger throttle and venturi bores to flow the same amount of air.

Mr.Buss, While you've got that 950HP handy, what size squirters are in it? Some people say thats another way to tell the size if they haven't been changed. mine are 32 in primary and 35 in secondary.

mine are only #25's there not what it came with, i think i changed them when i plugged the powervalves......its been 3 years or so since ive even messed with it

heres another pic let me know if you need anything else.

Dude you have the old style HP as I posted before. If you really need me to I will post the pics of the same carb I have that you have. Mines crusty but not rusty.

The old Holley's like you posted did not come with the 4 corner idle or down leg boosters unless they where hp.

But after all the crap with the Berry Grant and Holley meltdown and Berry started making the demons. Holley had to step it up a notch and the standard 750 800 and 850 started having 4 corner idle and down leg boosters if they where a dp

Mr.Buss, on the top of the carb on the side, just inside of where the air cleaner would set, mine has a number, 6R -7867B, does yours have a number? It's on the very top, round part. I'm thinking we've got the same carb.

Yea RED!!I'd like to see that 'crusted but not rusted' old style HP!:eyecrazy: Post a pic.

I called Holley first thing this morning. Gave them all the numbers. He could not tell me anything. Says it's probably from a 'carb shop' or aftermarket piece.?He was trying to help, but just couldn't get the numbers to match to anything.
