which prop for max speed

i have a 17 foot 84diplomat with a 84merc inline 115, turning a 17p alluminum prop i can pull 55mph with 3 passengers. whats the best prop for max mph with my setup?
 
I would think a 19p or maybe a 21p stianless would be the prop for your boat
those are some pretty good speeds you are turning is that GPS or speedo
 
Had the same combo. A 19" SS will get you around 50 MPH (gps). Any more and you will be bogging that motor. You want to prop it to turn 5500+ RPM. The smaller a diameter prop the better. Maybe 13". You are probably closer to 45 (gps) with a 17" aluminum.
