Who has owned their Checkmate the Longest?

253 Convincor purchased new in 1997 from Victor Ford Wauconda, IL,
20 years young and still runs like a clock

1979 is going to be hard to beat. I have owned checkmates since 1989 but not same boat

I bought my 1982 Diplomat used from Devils Lake Marina (Irish Hills) in 1992 and still have it. Pretty much rebuilt the whole boat.

My dad ordered 5 mx 15 in 1973. They were delivered as 1974 models. He kept the purple metal flake with a 135 evinrude. His 2 partners each kept one. He still has it and it is all original.

Now that is a cool boat. It's amazing how much boat designs change throughout the years. I bought my pulse in 1991 and my convincor in 1996.
