Why on earth....

Why on earth did checkmate put both batteries on the same side of my 97' convincor 220? Not only are they both on the same side of the boat, but they are both behind the helm. If anyone takes the boat out by themselves it is seriously off ballance. Take a 1 foot wake from either side, and you start rocking from one side of the keel to the other. Catch air and forget about it. The boat instantly lays over on its starboard side.

I know its easy to fix by moving one of the batteries. But seriously, what were they thinking?

Put the trim tab down on that side a bit, I liked my batteries together on one side because I put my anchors on the other side
 
Boats made with RH drives ALWAYS have extra weight on the starboard side to counter-act prop torque.
