which is best of the 3 ? im lookin to go bigger but i keep sayn pulsare even 21to 23' it seems like more than half our boatn is river n shallow water but we're on lake erie n huron as well, but for the tubin skis etc i like the small wake so a little knowledge please thanks z oh yeah open bow a must !

The lake gets rough on the weekends around here. I would sit home if I had to ride in anything but a Convincor or a ZT. In a small boat your lucky to run 25 mph without getting the crap beat out of you. But this is the conditions where I boat.

I like a Convincor better than a ZT. The ZT has a small step in the hull and the swim platform is made in the hull and the Convincor's is bolted on. I like the old school look, so a Convincor is what I like.

There all good boats If I was you I would go look at all 3 boats and ride in them to figure out what you like. A Convincor or ZT does not sit in the water as deep as you would think. I like to spend the night at the lake and that cubby cabin sure makes my wife happy.

i knew you'd hit this bigred , we got young kids and i love the room of the br, and w the youngest under 1yr overnighters arent happenin yet, and as for the afternoon delight when were w/o kids, just takes creativity !

I do not know what years or how many years they made this style Convincor. But it is a B-rider with a small cuddy between the front seats and windsheild. I think their is a 2 man bench on bolth sides in the cabin. I looked but I could not find any better pics of the inside of the cabin.

i didnt know of that in a older model yr ,but i saw that too , and the 24 pulsare has a version of that. pic looks like you have to crall under to get up front not a walk through . there is a 234persuader local it was on ebay it didnt sell , its all red w blk white trim so a little bro of yours ! im not sure on the comparison level to the convincor and zt whats the pros n cons to each or one over the other ? im w you on the look part ,but i dont like the way w 21-23 ftrs look to deep/fat like they lose the sleek lines compared to 25's or 27's etc plus that 23persuader has 454 !

Some people don't know this but the early year Checkmates did not include the swim platform as footage. My boat is a 96 242 but the swim platform is not included in the footage. You take a newer 242 and thats including the swim platform. I would call Checkmate and ask what year they started including the swim platform in footage. You take a 300 Convincor its really 28 foot.

I can't tell you much about a Persuader but once you ride in a deep v its hard to go back. I have had alot of smaller boats but Nothing rides better than a deep V. You know all those wakes you slow down for I cruse right over them and never crack the throttle.

I thought they went the other war with the numbers? I have a 99 Convincor 259 with the swim platform. Checkmate now considers that boat a 270 because the swim platform is standard and not an option.
