ZT280

I've gotten the ok to peruse for a different boat. I've seen several nice zt280s with power go for pretty cheap in comparion to some other boats. I wanted to pick the brain of those that have had them, driven them, or currently own them regarding performance. The things I'm currently unhappy with regarding my 251 are stability, listing, and porpoise. Any of that with the zt280? How does it handle rough water? Does it have a tendency to fall off the pad at lower speeds?

Thanks.

add lots of power 3"shortie lower unit, maximus 5blade totally changes handling. minimal trim and lots of vertical lift. love the way mine handles now. wasent happy with stock handling but with a few changes awesome ride. mine has been 93 on gps but as soon as air gets cool changing setup adding boost and looking for the 100mph mark.
