I know its a baja, but this thing is really nice. I cleaned and redid a lot of stuff and planned to keep it for a long time. I had a Senator years ago and my wife hated boating. bought the sunsport last year to get back on the water and now she loves it. she was sorry we let the senator go so I found a persuader b/r and now the baja is for sale. its a 3.0L, very affordable and reliable. trailer was just redone this year completely. you wont find a cleaner 88 at this price, needs nothing, gel shines real nice. ready for hours of problem free use. picts here:

I will hear all reasonable offers until the snow flies. no trades please.

I'm just a little confused????

Actually, I read somewhere that Baja makes a really excellent boat.
I think that was on the Baja website.

Not really certain.

Yeah, yeah. That's where it was.

I was eyeballin your pics last night

That is an amazing boat for the shape it's in. I have looked at a few that the folks wanted $1800-3800 and they were a hunk of crap. Yours is well preserved and appears to be VERY well taken care of. Would be nice if it were a few feet longer. We five don't fit in an 18'er too well.

thank you guys for the compliments on the sunsport. I have taken alot of pride in the boat and made a few things a lot nicer since I got it but it was very well cared for before I got it. I rebuilt the engine cover just because it was soft from all the skiing and people climbing over it wet for 20 years. I was even able to reuse the original upholstery. most of the other stuff was as simple as tying up wires tightening up the throttle/shift lever and simple things like that that people overlook. It makes me a bit bummed to sell it because it is so clean, unique and affordable but in the end my family will enjoy the new boat more and someone will get an awful nice 18 foot bowrider to enjoy on the cheap.

I have it listed other places at $5300.00 . I already have another boat home and would like to find the baja a new owner. I realize it is a twenty year old boat even though it is very, very nice. it will be a good find for someone. I also realize snow will soon fly in my state so I would love to hear any offer as long as it is not insulting. you could say I am "motivated".

McHenry, give me a call if you want. I would love to find this a new home before the weather gets nasty.

at this point I would entertain offers around $4300.00. someone could be getting a very clean reliable boat at this price. I have to put it in storage soon and it would be a much nicer winter if I did not need to pull two boats out of storage in the spring. thanks for looking, I dont think I could fully enjoy the mate until this one is gone.
