F-14 Harley Motor

I'm kicking around a local F-13. Wonder what that merc vazer drive cost :pissed:. It adds up to $18,000 for that motor/drive option!

Thats alot . But if you have the time and money would be a fun project to build just to do something different

It don't take much to get me thinking..... Wonder if an alpha would work. That would be a cheap alternative to the vazer drive. One could pick a used one up complete for $500-1k. I wonder if it would hold the high RPM's of a jap motor....

Playmate with a jap motor mated to a alpha drive, 280 K-planes, through hull exhaust, Hyd steering. That would have the WOW factor going to the water!!!
