Thought I would share this with you guys that love metalflake. I know it's not a CM but as my son has gotten older he wants/likes to fish. I started looking for a decent bassboat a few months ago and found this one. I picked up a 2002 Ranger 185VS w/175hp Mercury, hydraulic steering, jackplate, 71 lb motor guide trolling motor, lowrance HDS5 with structure scan on the console, lowerance x135 on the bow. Also has smartcraft gauges. Here's some pictures.

Thanks!! Man if only CM made a bassboat, I'd buy one. :D I did buy the best on the market though. I was down to a triton and the Ranger, both had high resale value. I liked the layout of the Ranger better. This is my fourth bassboat and I can say without a doubt one the best I've seen put together. The quality of the Ranger is remarkable.

Very nice! It may not be a Cmate, but Ranger is one heck of a well built boat and they seem to ride pretty good.

No question about the ride. I was in two foot rollers at the lake on Saturday and I can say it rides high and dry. :thumb:

Very nice rig. I really miss my bass boat. My kids and I talk about it all the time. You bought the best out there. Enjoy it . :bigthumb:

Thanks!! I've owned a hydrosport, Javelin, Stratos and now a Ranger. All the wiring is nice and neat the gelcoat is flawless all compartments has lights, absolutely amazing. Oh they use no wood, that was the plus for me!:thumb:

Ranger is the top of the line and hold their value too. That boat should be as fast maybe faster than the Checkmate and you can do so much more with it on 1/2 the gas!
