    christmas in november?

If I wasn't mostly in the salt I would rebuild mine. I've built and rebuilt car trailers and this would be way less work. I may have to nurse mine a little longer until I can get an aluminium one. I got a quote for $1800 for a nice one.

He came recommended by a local with an allison ss I met on the river. I have heard good things from other's that I know that have had work done there to. I got almost 83 mph out it up on the Suwannee.

Nice trailer. I wish a steel trailer could live down here. :irked:

The salt is putting a beating on that trailer. I may just look for a used aluminium one. I talked to the guy and he told me it should be no problem to fix it from the outside and it would be $650. I'm dropping it off tomorrow so he can get on it Friday morning. Should have it back in time to get...

Not really sure what happened yet. I'm going over to a glass guy in a few to let him look at it and get a quote on fixing it. Between this repair and needing an aluminum trailer this may be the end of this boat with me. :irked: Somebody may be getting a deal on a fixable hull.

For most of that I was running 60 or better. I'm pretty sure that I made the whole run in less than 30 min and it was 32.7 miles back to the ramp. That was my first trip to the Suwannee.:bigthumb:

At the boat ramp they said that my boat was running good and looked good doing it. I know that it's apples to oranges but still they were just flying. Here is a link to the crappy video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-jRQ5HuoMg

That was a 28 I think. It had 300's on it. I also got passed by a 100+mph fishing boat. Kind of took the wind out of my sail that my boat broke 80 for the first time.
