    ...OMC's have there moments I think I remember seeing a documentary or somethin about that, was a V8 tho if I remember correctly I had a V6 Evinrude and its highlight was hitting a wake at speed and my trim stopped working and all I could see was the sky lol

    Theres your answer. And thats how we do it at work, although warming it up isnt totally necessary. I've always done mine cold, and i think thats key. To do it either cold all the time or warm all the time for comparing reasons
