    Over powering a pulsare 1600br ??

I am sure that your boat would handle the 200, but if you want to get it insured, forget it!

    2100BR length on Trailer?

If I remember right, mine is 23'8" on the trailer with the tongue folded. I have a 5.5" CMC jackplate and a G1 225 HO Evinrude. The boat is on a Sea Hawk single axle trailer. With the tongue folded, the trailer still sticks out about 8" in front of the bow of the boat. The length is measured...

    Jack Plate Height

CMC makes an adapter that makes your jackplate 10". It is not very expensive and it bolts right on. They use these extenders to make a 10" bracket at CMC. The jackplates are all the same 5.5" or 10" with the extender. That is how they make them. Look at a 10" jackplate and you will see the...

    Trim tabs on pulsare

Trim Tabs I put Bennetts on my 2100BR a few years ago. Made the boat way more enjoyable when cruising around at about 35mph. There are zero minuses to them. Did not hurt speed at all. Probably the best thing that I did to my boat.

    Sportfire bow rise / porpoise

Trim Tabs Put Bennett or Lenco tabs on it and your problems will be over. There will be zero loss of speed and porpoise and bow rise will be gone. There are no downsides to trim tabs. They work!

    21 ft Pulsare weight

Boat 1400 Motor 550 battery 50 jack plate 50 gas 220 life jackets and assorted stuff in boat 100 total 2370 Even if these weights are a little light, you should not weigh over 2500#

    Plywood for transom from Lowes

Plywood If you want the strongest and the best plywood to use, 4 x 8 Baltic Birch with ext glue is by far the best way to go. Marine grade fir and ext Fir ply use the same glue. The only difference is the marine grade has far less core voids. Suppose to have zero, but that is not the case...

    Checkmate Hellcat?

The drive is not a problem. A mercruiser or an Imco can easily handle that much power. The drive bolts to the crankshaft via a coupler so all you would need is the correct bolt patern on the flange. Piece of cake! For headers all you need is a exhaust gasket and have someone waterjet you a...

    Persuader Boats Buys Wahoo Powerboats.

Any idea yet on what the price of these boats will be? Look like they could be a lot of fun!

    2100 BR Prop Question, Again

Checkmates and Set Up There is no one setup that works for all applications. If you want top speed, you set it up different than if you want to pull skiers and wake boarders. Every boat, even by the same manufacturer is a little different. Different molds, different length of time it sat in...

    2100 BR Prop Question, Again

The Allison style plate might be a good idea on a boat with the propshaft even or above the bottom of the boat. Much lower and I think that it would cause way too much drag. A great idea, in the right application. Skip

    2100 BR Prop Question, Again

I know all too well what blowout is! It first happened to me around 1982 in a Campbell with a 235 Evinrude. The boat would run in the low to mid eightys. Trust me, I still remember the first time that it happened. Scared the crap out of me. It can be caused by gear case shape, gear case...

    2100 BR Prop Question, Again

I am pretty sure what Mark meant by "blowout" is actually ventilation from raising the motor too high. Not the gearcase blowout that happens at around 80 plus mph. Had that happen a couple of times and bad things can happen really fast when the nose drops. The fastest prop is usually not the...

    2100 BR Prop Question, Again

I think that a Merc trims in more than an Evinrude. That is the only reason that I can think of that causes the Evinrudes to porpoise much more than the Mercs. A Yamaha SHO looks like a sweet motor. I have never seen or heard of one on a Pulsare though.......Skip
