Question for all viewers,

Buying a new '05 Pulsare br from a dealer (leftover),he has a new '03 2.5Lt he can sell me for close to the same price as a new '07 Optimax 225 ,the question that I have is I still want to ski behind my boat , is the 2.5 Lt. going to less comperable to pull a skier being more of a performance motor ? also having 1 year less on the warrenty, I love the speed runs ,but I also love to ski , some input from outboard lovers here would help me greatly, I previously owned a Malibu Response and have been away from the outboards for 5 - 7 years.

Thanks 99Malibu

buy the opti, its a better engine for your needs - you will not enjoy the 2.5 as much. i wouldn't want to buy something "new" that's been sitting around for at least 4 years.

Thanks for all the help gang, I have ordered the 225 OPTIMAX, it was offered with a 2 year factory extension warrenty for a $ 1.00 per H.P. more, 5 years total,

CAN'T WAIT TO RECIEVE IT AND HIT THE LAKES

THANKS AGAIN 99MALIBU
