1973 V-mate project

Thanks for the reply, used 1708 Biaxial mat for this project. Used mostly Polyester resin on this project to keep the cost down, and the ease of wetting out the mat. Used Epoxy where needed for additional strength.
 
You do great work! This thing is turning out real nice plus you are "clipping" right along.
Can't wait to see a photo of it sitting in the water.

So for the floor, I cut 3/4 plywood and put into place. Cut the edges at the correct angle so it laid correctly. Then I drilled small 1/4 inch holes down the middle of the floor and took measurements to the bottom of the hull. Then I was able to secure a stringer-floor support down the length of floor. Once build, I put down thickened West system epoxy down the keel of boat and put down the floor, bedding the floor support into the epoxy. Then I just used polyester resin the tab into hull. Did not use any foam in the floor. Only flotation is in the bow of the boat under deck.

This makes sense and streamlines the process. Motivates me to get moving as soon as the weather gets a little better!
