I have a 1978 Checkmate jet mate jet boat for sale or trade. It needs a lot of work, has been siting for years.
Needs the floor replaced and all the cables. also needs all new interior.
It has a 460 ford and Berkeley pump. I have the title in hand. Asking $900 or trade

talked via text message today and he says his bottom dollar is 750 as it sits or 400 minus motor.

It would be a lot of work but I love those old JetMate IIs! Looks like all the major components are still there. It seems like the hatches come up missing or modified on these boats. To bad it wasn't closer to NC.

I bought this old boat, 5 hour drive from home, this is my first jetboat, It really looks alot worse than it is, I think it's going to come together really well when i start on it I will post some pics when she gets done

I am glad to hear someone picked it up that is going to do good with it. the guy in austin said to me one time that if he did not sell it for what he wanted he would just take the motor out and cut the boat up. start a resto thread and good luck. I hope it is better shape than in the pictures.
