hi, I bought this boat last winter to restore. The guy i bought it from lied about everything from the floor to the ladder! but that is water under the bridge. I have replaced the floor and wet sanded the boat with 600 then 1000 it is ready to be buffed, it is all there plus a nice drive on trailer and a 135 hp mercury outboard witch i have all new decals for. It just needs the seats recovered and the motor installed. I need it out of my garage plus i started my own business and i just dont have the time to finish it. It is a very solid and will make you a nice boat when it is done with out spending a ton of money. I can send pictures by email or cell phone, please call for more info. 740-815-2890 Ken Towers ktowers@insight.rr.com asking $850.00

boat

For the guy who posted this , i sold you that boat and i did not lie , i told you i had only bought the boat for the motor and controls and i told you what i knew , for the 300 you gave me for the boat and trailer and everything else except the motor and controls you got a deal . trailer is worth 300.00 , as far as floor goes i was only in the boat to remove controls and told you what i knew you had all the time you wanted to check things out before you bought it and i lowered the price down to 300 for you . im sorry you feel this way but i did not lie . good luck selling the boat .

B.S. #1 lie,you told me the floor was only bad around the 4 small bolt holes where the guy put in a make shift ski pole, it was all bad!#2 lie, you told me that the guy you got the boat from took off the ladder off, when i got home i looked at the ebay and craigs list pictures and it was on the boat, i called you and you said yes you took it off before i got there and i could buy it for 75.00! lie#3 you told me the steering cable was ok, it is locked up, had to get a new one! I never mentioned your name or who i got the boat from in the add but now that you put this post on here it is your falt everyone knows what a scamer that you are! dumb ass!

not so fast rngrdve! there two sides to this story too

Thats true but speegt been here for years and never given me a reason to question his integrity. You have been here for 5 minutes and I don't know your history so I tend not to believe you. Nobody knew he was the p.o. of the boat so he didn't have to speak up and call you out on it. If he had lied I think he would have kept quit and stayed in the shadows. Good luck with your sale.

The boat I'm restoring was not in the condition I thought it was when I dragged it home. I don't think the guy intentionally mislead me, he just didn't look into it as deeply as I eventually did. If you want to blame people in these matters, you have to spend some time looking in the mirror. Life is too short.

if you buy a project boat for under 500 dollars you should expect that it needs everything replaced. that way when you find something that does not need to be replaced you can be surprised. I was just given a boat that I figured needed everything but is in better shape than I expected. on the same note I purchased a boat for 2,000 that ended up needing a floor and more rather than just seats. but this is to be expected on a 22 year old boat.

on another note what is the actual prise for the boat. your first post says $850 but your craigslist ad says $700?

boat

i stand behind what i say i told you what i knew and cussing will not help your sale , for 300.00 not sure what you expected , you could have easily got in boat and checked floor i told you what i knew . anyway good luck with the sale and i wish you the best . ill take the high road .

I got mine from the dump...and was i disapointed with the condition it was in!:poke: You dont get much for 300.00 with an old boat except expectations that its going to need alot of work!

Is the boat still for sale? 'Cause I don't care who said what about anything. And can you bolt the motor on so I won't have to make two trips.
